I’m a huge Hip Hop Head and trust me there is nothing at the moment that sounds like Matisyahu. The Closest one could Get is Michael Franti and even that is a long shot. As for him “selling out” i really doubt a man of his character would intentionally use his beliefs for the purpose of making money.That and I think he just wanted to try something fresh and reach his hand out to another audience..Move forward or sink. And It may be just me coming from punk rock roots,but i see the message as being far more important then the music (Although i enjoy the music wholeheartedly as well). I really enjoy the new album and cant wait to hear some more from the dude. Anyways Just My Opinion..Peace.
