How he has effected my life… Well I heard King without a crown when it first came out, on the radio, and I really was digging the sound. I looked him up and read about his life and how far he’s come. He’s so devoted to religion, and music. I was in awe that all of his songs were about God. His songs have such a powerful and positive message.
He opened my eyes to religion, and how great God really is. I have something to believe in.
I hope one day I can truly thank him.
Matis has helped me grow spiritually and find my place in the universe. All this through music of inspiration and hope at a time when there is so little. In my 38 years, I’ve never been moved the way his words and performances do. He makes me want to be a better person, father, and husband. I know that I am not alone in striving for a real and lasting meaning in life. My relationship with God has grown and I’m completely sober for the first time in my life. I am a Christian that has had a rough last 5-6 years. I have been so focused on the stress that I kind of lost my focus on God. I really don’t don’t like Christian music and I feel nothing listening to it. I have listened to Eminem more than anything. Then I heard Matisyahu and my life flipped. I felt God just listening to him so I tossed all the Eminem and listen to Matisyahu all the time. So I want to thank him for giving me God back and for being an outstanding man. He has obviously been touched by God.
